Agreed, this is mostly to needle Buck. I don’t bring it up when flying unless asked. There’s probably a reason it’s “mostly former North” unfortunately. It took a decade for my fDal buds to finally admit “yeah, I made out pretty well in hind sight”.
I’m betting this was not “all you heard when you were new” though. Didn’t they talk about turboprops, Air Wisconsin, reduced rest layovers?
