All the 220 training, including indoc, is completed on the ipad. And they are looking to move the other fleets to similar training.
When you say “indoc” do you mean airplane systems and procedures? I get that you can do aircraft training remotely, but indoctrination at each airline I’ve worked for has meant the HR housekeeping, signing all manner of documents, benefits review, the mandatory 121 review, drop ins from management and union, etc. the first week or so of coming on property. Then you go do airplane specific stuff.
My point is a certain amount of that, but not all, will need to be done with NK pilots and FAs, and that it might be easier to do it in person over a day or two. Pilots will probably need some kind of sim or checkout to fly on the B6 operating cert, or maybe not if they get a waiver for 320 to 320.
I just realized how much I don’t care about any of this…
