XJet being in the red means nothing... multiple economical factors most beyond anyone's control are the reason. However, AWAC isn't in the red but i can assure you 100% that we have a concessionary contract because we were undercut by companies that have ridiculously low labor costs. Concessions or lost flying happened to AWAC, ACA, ExpressJet, and when AMR sells of Eagle it will happen. Who will take Eagle's flying... who will win this race to the bottom? Maybe TSA or MESA will get it... how cheap would you guys work for if it meant more shiny jets? Free? Just curious. All good companies with a good product are taking losses to guys who are willing to work under a terrible contract.

So you all have proved your point that TSA's EXPIRED contract is crap. But thats the point. It's expired! It's been expired for 2 YEARS! And we're still working under it! And guess what? We'll probably be working under it for 2 more years! Why? Because this pilot group is tired of being abused and underpaid! Because the VAST majority of this group will REFUSE to settle just to get a current contract. In no way will this group work for free just to get more planes. Have we forgotten why trans states isn't flying 700's?
