It’s 2.5 hours to report. Consideration is given to heavy traffic, but that would mean with no traffic it would have to be 2.5 or less to report at the designated location (either the gate or flight planing area). If they call you with less than a 3 hour report, you can get reimbursed for close-in parking.
As far as how often that happens today, someone else will have to answer that one.
