Yes and no. They can adjust the following day RAP to get you contractual crew rest. You can also call fatigued, and I honestly recommend doing so in this situation. Flipping a RAP is, by its definition, a fatiguing event unless it is done in such a way that it is discussed by both parties and agreed to in order to get someone rest who had issues the day prior.
I haven't seen them adjust the current day RAP to get you legal, and that is definitely shady if that is a common practice now. I wouldn't hesitate to call them on it every single time. Just say no and they will stop being enabled to pull shenanigans like that in the future.
