Through the last effective date of next year, only 478 people have been awarded Jfk 320 FO, with something like 778 guys being awarded JFK 320 CA. So in theory, if those numbers end up close by EOY 2023, if you started tomorrow and got JFK 320 FO, you’d end next year at 61.5% RS, which isn’t bad at all. Doing the same for the 190 is about 32/125, or about 25%. Factoring in attrition, each will likely be slightly better. But it’s not like the old days of hiring only 200 a year and all the 2 year seat locked 190 guys coming over on top of the bottom 320 guys causing lots of stagnation. My old advice to guys was to do the 190 for 1-2 years, then go to then 320. But, nowadays, I’m not sure between the garbage plane that is the 190, and that extra 5-6 weeks in MCO, it’s worth it. I’d prob go straight to the bus if I were starting soon.
