I certainly wouldn't complain about getting paid more per day, just don't expect the optimizer to let us have it for free. There will be earlier starts on the first day, later finished on the last day, or shorter overnights. They'll fill the days with more flying to avoid dishing out soft pay. And there's plenty of people in the pilot group that don't want that.

We've got to get our quality life expectations written into the contract.
