We elect leaders to lead, not to rubber stamp pilots wish lists.
It would be different if they got to approve any TA. This still has to go to membership for ratification but if they "lead," you'll get TA1 and the corresponding sell job/failure.
Unlike the UPS contract where they took an extension, the Delta contract is lacking in many areas.
