Yeah….. agreed 💯. And besides while we’re changing the definition of nearly everything in sight…. What’s up with the term “minor”? That just seems like another outdated term of colonialist patriarchy. There have been many cultures throughout history where what the west considers a minority in modern civilization, is years older than what’s been allowed. The Greeks and Romans allowed for under age brothels. Who are WE to decide at what age two sentient humans can decide to have intimate relations. I mean, if in grade school one can decide to be another gender, have bodily mutation surgery and take hormone blockers, it seems the highest form of hubris to insist that they then conform to outdated notions of whom and what age the person is that they engage with intimately.
How dare anyone attach their Puritan notions of age of consent. I truly hope that one day we can rid ourselves of the bigoted pedophobic words like “child”, “age of consent”, and “minor” and live in a society free of prejudice.
