Ratio's
In the 1920 3.5% of all pilots were women. In 1995 5% were women. UAL did a study to determine why there was such a small increase over so much advancement in women's rights. The answer was that most women at 28 got the baby bug and quit. Men are better suited for the loneliness and nomad lifestyle. Therefore in order to increase the percentage of women pilots at UAL they had to hire them as young as possible. I think that women have had the right idea all along.
