I'm assuming that particular management team is still keeping an eye out for an angle to screw the pilots as usual. So wouldn't bank on anything just yet.
But they may be in or very close to checkmate, since the top boyz (I use the term loosely) are in danger of loosing their own jobs if operational meltdowns and bad publicity continue... they probably don't have time to wait for the next big recession, nuclear war, etc. They probably got a little hopeful with the red army moving west into Europe, but that fizzled quickly. The one they thing they value more than defeating the pilot group (again) is their own cushy gigs.
