As far as I understand it ALPA merger policy stovepipes the seniority list so the actual seat you’re currently sitting in shouldn’t matter in regards to the SLI. Seats matter if you are merging carriers with different types or plan to downsize. That's not the case here. And if a guy 50 #'s junior to me upgrades and I don't. He's not going to magically gain seniority over me in the integration.
