Can’t figure out if we are parking some old 320’s in the 320/neo grouping or any other WB (763er?) in a future forecast. Last I saw we are keeping the 76’s so do we have WB growth? Are NEO’s replacing 320’s? We have 739’s coming online from purchase but are we parking any 738’s? We have A220’s coming, but what are be doing in the 717 fleet (reactivating? Or keeping what we have?) . An update would be helpful of where we are (fleet wise), and where we are going for an AE bid. Kinda hard to make a plan with the foundation unknown. Delta keeps jets for a long time, BUT we also have orders that change ideas in real time.
Deliveries are never set in stone. Production issues slow them, economics slow them, towards the end of the year they can be delayed to show cash on hand etc. Orders and delivery dates are renegotiated regularly. Given the mass retirements during Covid, I would expect net gains for a little while. Many airlines overbook orders with the intent to broker airframes as they come off the production line. Boeing just announced the remarketing of 120+ Chinese jets. The fleet count is always fluid but the 10-Qs and 10-K have historical numbers.
