When his idea first came out, give the guy credit for trying, I thought please not this direction.
I laughed when he compares military training to his program. As the FAA stated, the military uses high performance aircraft from day one until the end of training in the pilot's assigned one, two, three or four engine aircraft.
He uses the 750 hour mark and totally skips the fact that 750 hours takes about four to five years of flying experience, world-wide, to achieve. Again, ALL in high performance planes.
How long and in what environment will it a pilot in his program to achieve 750 hours and in what aircraft?
I do give him credit in trying, but he was only looking out for his airline. By grabbing a pilot at zero time and keeping them well into the lefteseat for YEARS.
