A new hire looking to spend 4 years at skywest before moving on stands to make an extra $200,000 in those 4 years if we vote this in. You are arguing for the $10,000 someone who just finished up 4 years at skywest has received. Now say mr. New hire is tragically at a nice place like skywest for 4 full years under the new TA vesting in nearly 20k. How noble.
That's completely besides the point. The company is going to pay that much at a minimum, they're just trying to take as much back from the pilot group while they do it.
It's not like if you vote no, SkyWest isn't going to come back and offer you more. They're just trying to get you to accept less, they're trying to get this to pass by 51% and nothing more, and you're trying to help argue their case instead of the pilot's case. Not a great look for you tbh.
