I believe their duties/responsibilities are limited when compared to what a typical seniority number holding LCA can perform. Additionally, the position is not represented by their union and pay is quite different....at least that's how I understood it without asking the real details of those positions. Regardless, not many others in the industry have hired LCA's who will hold a seniority number (such as a DEC). Pro sim instructors....that's another animal in itself.
