The VB thing was silly.
After the schedules were released you then bid for the VB. Included positive space commuting and hotels. Why not just open smaller pilot bases and employ technology that doesn’t require a CPO. Think of all the money on lanyards you could save.
Yeah the silliness about "but they'd have to have V-files and a CPO!!!!!" is laughable.
