I was initially a NO. Did not like the Compensation package, or better put, was underwhelmed. Thought Retro could be higher and Vac credit higher as well. Absolutely HATE the ANC/FAI all nighter carveout. Wish there was a WOCL override. But I said since the beginning my yes/no vote will be determined from section 25. After diving into this, listening to the podcasts and talking to my Rep, there's a lot of great things in here. The PBS system just to start will be industry leading. I came from Atlantic Southeast, the PBS system there was unbelievable, and Industry leading. This PBS system will be very similar if not the same (vacation low means you'll be able to turn 7 days of vacation into 3 weeks. or pick up time and make $$ your choice). Still like to hear pilots on here gaming it out, giving me scenarios to think about regarding RSV and BBH situations. But I'm with many on here who said HELL NO at first, but at second glance is very good. Quality of life language isn't exciting, you have to read and discern and apply. Not like pay rates anyways, those always bounce out at you. Spirit is a great example, they pour the bulk of their pot of money into QOL, I love their QOL piece, but their pay rates comparatively aren't exciting. I would much rather have a higher QOL, WITH AN OPPORTUNITY to make more money IF I CHOOSE TO. I think this system will allow that, looking forward to the road shows to determine my final decision.
