While I’m not sure what the overall percentage is for the cadre as a whole, the majority of the instructors I had for transition had zero, read: zero time on the line. Like 80% of them were barely here 6 months. They were solid people, and I’m certainly not arguing that they deserve anything less than fair pay and consideration, but baby blues don’t exactly have a lot of sway when it comes to negotiating. They’re not even full union members.
