Eagle can adjust mins to attract more pilots and get quick results without any real financial penalty. If they raise starting pay to $50k then they will be stuck paying that until the contract is up for negotiations next, which will cost a hell of a lot more than putting low time pilots through extra sim and IOE training. It is very sad to say, but until someone puts one in the ground and lack of experience is a direct cause then we wont see changes. Everything in this industry is paid for with blood.
