It was an honest observation and I was thinking the same thing. It's a "boy have times changed" joke. The funny part is, for a lot of us slugging it out on the M88 or DC9 or side saddle was the new hire way. Luck was if you got the base you wanted instead of NYC or DTW. We were suckers I guess, we should have put off the seniority until we could hold Hawaii. Which means we would have been in the same new hire class.
