When whichever hurricane came through in 2017 hit, the Lodge turned into a refugee center for all of those in need in south Florida. Those of us in training stuck around and basically had a two-day hurricane party. Poker, remote control helicopters, and as many Jai Alais as Kevin could pour. I even witnessed a dog pee in the entryway to Bubbles on floor 3 while a kid rode on its back. They were incredibly accommodating.
