Im pretty sure it's still 2yrs for 401k vesting
BOS as a newhire should be pretty easy. I'd definitely try to commute online vs off since we are still allowing positive space commuting.
It's hard to gauge the reserve times, but the junior 320 and 190 lines went to pretty similar seniority levels (#4246 and #4313 respectively). I'd wager about 8mo-1yr for either seat to get a line if hired today.
Commuting really blows. I don't think it is crazy to stay where you are and enjoy driving to work, and spending a lot more time with your family than you would otherwise. Money isn't everything. If you are going to commute then I'd commute for a legacy and something easy like AA/UA where CLE/CMH-ORD options are plentiful.
