For years I've heard 99% of this group say we're never again going to accept 5% less. Now guys are tripping over their deeks to do just that. Inflation calculators have your 2019, $266/hr rate at $308 today. Do you believe you're worth $2 less than a mere inflation bump? If you really, truly, believe we hold all the cards, why are we settling for rates below a known range? Send it back and be confident in your Royal Flush.
Why are you so hung up on ‘pay rates’? There is a multitude of ways to make way more pay in this TA, whether on reserve or a line holder. Last year it was all “we want scope and work rules”. You got that that, and now suddenly at the 1yd line its “Pay rates & more Retro”…

Guess what, you can’t have your cake and eat it too…it’s called negotiations, and I think our MEC/NC did each and everything they could fight for in negotiations.
