4918 as of today. Starting a betting pool for the October gone report. There are dozens (dozens of dozens?) of people waiting for a bonus check to clear 10/1 and then they're out.

The new TA doesn't do anything to stem the tide. Only a major economic event will do that--but for now hiring at the majors continues at a fever pace.



Question for the group: Does this new TA make Spirit less relevant? (that nasty second-tier operator, as our illustrious leader put it....) Asking for a friend at a third or fourth tier airline.
