Question for the group: Does this new TA make Spirit less relevant? (that nasty second-tier operator, as our illustrious leader put it....) Asking for a friend at a third or fourth tier airline.
i think it makes them More relevant. There is no way these new rates are sustainable. They are temporary in nature while the major partners reconfigure and take over the flying. The majors need the pilots and have pretty much all said that the new rates are ineffective given that most 50 seaters are not able to carry 50 people. So yes. People are still leaving and going to leave. If you are younger than 60, still no point In staying here only to see your QOL and airline shrink.
