For others...wait to see if they get a star next to their name on the bid letter. If you don't want to wait for the bid pack, check the training awards and/or look at their board. If SWAPA has a better way I'm interested to know.
They don't get the star until UOE is complete, so the next vacancy bid will have already closed by then. And training scheduling doesn't post the roster, if at all, until right around the time the class starts. And then there are board blockers...
So in other words, there's gotta be a better way.
