I wasn't arguing for clarification. It reads pretty simple to me. The first look back will be on Sept. 1st, '23. AS pilots will get the higher of 4% or the average of 5 airlines. As it's written, The ONLY one excluded would be JB, IF they don't have a new contract. To me, this means that the other 4 airlines WILL be included, even if they don't have a new contract. Wouldn't it behoove the NC to include the fact that, NONE OF THE AIRLINES ON THE LIST WILL BE INCLUDED IF THEY DON'T HAVE A NEW CONTRACT, or, ONLY AIRLINES WITH NEW RATES WILL BE INCLUDED???? The way you explain it, if DAL is the only airline to get new rates prior to 9/1/23, we average our pay with theirs and that's it. That is mostly definitely not how the language is written. Maybe the wording changes in the final full TA, but that is not in the executive summary.
