They could solve their W&B and performance issues in one fell swoop by canceling the Max 7 orders, putting a few rows of better seats in the Max 8, and selling them for a modest premium. You know, like AirTran did many years ago. Heck, make
those seats assigned and leave coach the free-for-all that it has always been. Win-win for revenue, W&B, and luring back business travelers. They could do the reconfiguration at the same time they're putting the power outlets in.
