I'm super comfortable at my current ACMI with decent pay, no commuting and no crashpads and planned to retire here, but with longevity pay step transfer and the new rates and to be based 10 miles from home I may consider jumping ship. Pay wise it would be the same as I make now, but a lot more time at home with family. The thing that concerns me is the way the regional industry opens/closes bases at the drop of a hat, and I'd prefer a WO then a contractor job. Better retirement travel benefits at the minimum.

Still overall, a nice gain by your pilot group.
Our rates are still lower than the new rates everywhere else even if the TA passes. As far as the bases I think the outstations are pretty safe here at Republic. Especially the Holy Trinity of IND CMH PIT.

We aren't yet desperate enough to offer longevity match. Between the LIFT cadets and constant influx of CFIs the classes are apparently full.

That said since you are eligible for CA upgrade you'd probably finish IOE as FO and hold a CA vacancy the following month which would mean you'd be an FO on the line for a couple months. Under the new TA you can qualify for 1st year CA pay before you go to training.
