1. Hiring isn’t slowing, it’s returning to normal. Last stated number was 100-125 a month.
2. I’ve stated before that the large number of seat locks probably has something to do with it, but we have had NYC and DTW WB positions go to new hires.

4. You will be WB at United sooner, that is true. They go junior because their reserve rules are way worse than ours, and they have more WB planes.
5. If you live in a base, go there. That’s a no brainer.
To add, the planned hiring chart shown at the standards meeting was full bore hiring except dips leading summer and holiday peak periods to allow instructors’ fly months to be put to most efficient use. Nowhere on the chart was a sustained 100-125 a month number.
