Not to point fingers, but I'm always curious as to the situation one is in where they don't go for premium...I'm assuming you are not a local on a narrow body fleet, is that correct? My point being that those who hate on the pilots picking up premium usually have a reason why they are unable to and because of that, come off altruistic in why they don't pick it up.
No one is hating on pilots picking up premium. Im simply saying that when all the open time trips are covered it takes away from our leverage.. regardless how they are covered. I could care less what Delta or United are doing. United TA was a bigger turd than our current turd in the making. You know what happens when you assume.. I'm local, live under an hour from Miami, NB CA.
I will agree that following the JCBA is a must. Unfortunately some don't, which is a problem.
