Shyguy, I think you are a little misled on how some of those scenarios play out in case 1-5.

Everyone call a rep with questions that need that much detailed explaining.

Ehh, what's up Doc?! Just wanted to follow up on this. Not sure who you got your info from but Shy and myself are understanding this 100% correctly. (Although we have different outlooks on it). It really is as it's written. The only airline that will not be used as a comparator should they not have a new contract, is JB. UA, DL, SW and AA are all factored into the average on 9/1/23, regardless of a new rate or not. That's why we get the higher of the average or 4%. So for any increase above 4% next September, the other airlines.....well, I'm sure you know how averages work. This won't change how either of us votes but just wanted to stop the spread of misinformation. Maybe the rep who explained it to you didn't understand what you were asking??
