Dca is at least 7-8 months to obtain. I’ve been bidding for it since I got here and still nothing. Lowest seniority number there was an April hire. If your goal is to stay at rpa you can have a great qol. You don’t have to worry about getting flight time and moving on. If you want to make it to a legacy or another major you’re looking at years because most new hire fos are flying less than 10 hrs a month. Don’t know where you live but commuting to sit on your ass for 5 days is pretty ****. New contract is going to change things for a lot of people but it isn’t really improving on a whole lot it’s simply matching the current industry standard. As far as the lack of captains and flying time maybe the new contract will help maybe it won’t. Either way it’s going to take a year or more to recover the lost ca if it can stop the bleed

Ooof… Well, I guess if not DCA, I’d be leaning towards CMH or IND. What are the junior bases these days? I’m pretty open minded, and I’m planning to move to base, but I don’t want to go to NYC area.
