The economic data and interest rates + Fed actions are there for all to read and review. Have to remind myself it’s mostly the NO voters who are peeved that think things are rosey and a new TA is 2 weeks to 2 months away.
I’m not sure those things are very relevant when it comes to the airlines. $100 oil and they will be reporting massive profits this quarter. Demand is still high in the face of inflation. High interest rates just mean nobody can buy a house so they have excess income to spend on vacation.
Not to mention the need for pilots is not going away. Alaska needs to solve this problem in order to realize their growth plans. They have a lot of metal on order with no way to attract the pilots to fly them.
