Jetblue hiring question
i just got a conditional job offer to fly for JetBlue with their gateway program, it is an expensive program--110k, with the major upside being that I can go from a CFI with 1500TT straight to JetBlue without an interview. I see on JetBlue's recent job posting for first officers, the only requirements are 1500 hours TT, with a minimum of 500 hours in fixed-wing airplanes, and an ATP. Wouldn't it be smarter to go to a cheaper part 61 school--55k, and apply to JetBlue when I get 1500TT?
