Of course you have a right to vote on the TA. Yes or no, your choice.
That said, a no vote is undermining your union. And a clear slap in the face to them, in that for the past 3 yrs your MEC did in fact NOT speak for you. It's undermining your union because they have clearly used guidance from ALPA National and presented to you a good contract that met the 4 cornerstone areas the pilot group asked for. It's backed by ALPA's EFA team that did their due diligence on the financial and economic aspects.
It's also the fact that this TA was voted 100% unanimously by your union.
NotTellin chided me for saying that I would be happy with $320/hr and was met with a "you are undermining your union!" and "you are hurting the Negotiating committee" and "stop telling the company what you are happy with." I said that was the union written proposal just 6 months ago released in March, and how am I undermining them by being okay with what the union is proposing? That was met with a "it was 6 months ago! Inflation!!!!!"
Anyway, now NotTellin is saying not only is he a no vote, he's already made stickers that state "Don't blame me, I voted NO!"
Anyone voting no to this unanimously voted yes TA by the union can no longer claim "Me MEC Speaks for Me" and hopefully remove those stickers from their bags. Because they clearly didn't, which is why you voted no. NotTellin rebutted that they speak for me on matters regarding management. Well, what do you think they've been doing for the past 3 years?!
Btw, I undermined the union? Hmpf, you only wish it was $320/hr DOS.

It isn't. It'll be $306.
I'm still a yes.
