I have a sneaking suspicion you’re not nearly as “in the middle” as you think you are.
That said, and the main point is, who cares. You’re allowed to be left, right, center, upside down… just don’t be a d**k and don’t keep talking about it when I ask politely not to discuss politics on the flight deck. It’s not nearly as big a deal as people like to make it.
