However, I’m not person that takes bunch of vacations and trips. I work every day and can go without day off for a while. This is literally the only event in years that I have to attend. It’s kinda unfortunate that it falls into March. I’m sure other pilots also have important family events and somehow manage to do everything.
Sounds like you need to stick with your current job until March and start at SkyWest in April. No one is going to let you go to that. Definitely not Mesa.
The one out you may have is that you may actually still be waiting for sims at Mesa at that point. I’d say it’s a 50/50 chance. But the prudent thing to do would be call SkyWest and take an April class date.
