No regional airline is going to willingly grant you vacation time during your first twelve months of employment unless you accidentally have a break in training. Once you complete IOE they will build you a reserve line and you will be lucky to get more than two or three days off in a row. In a junior base with lots of movement you might hold a line quickly, but you still won’t get vacation within the first year. You will probably only get one week of vacation after 12 months of employment that you might be able to combine with a few days off on either side if you are lucky.

At SkyWest you can get any base as an FO within a few months, and in base seniority will move quicker soon with mandatory upgrades beginning. I vote SkyWest. You need to choose between your vacation or an earlier start to your career.
