Years ago I was on a JetBlue 320 jumpeat out of Vegas, and the CA (who was PF) delayed calling the gear up for 10 extra seconds or so after positive rate. He explained to me, "As an Airbus pilot, sometimes you want to remind this monther****er who's really the boss!"
