I looked at a United 787 bid pack. It looks way more chill then one of our absurd AM or PM lines. One leg from DEN-FRA is less time on the flight deck than one of my normal duty days on the 737. I just finished a 4 leg a day, 3 day that was all max duty with 4AM lobbies. I doubt there is heavy flying that is much harder than that. Im sure there is a reason heavy flying is more senior than narrow body captain.
The longer I’ve been here and the older I’ve gotten, the more difficult it has become for me to do our trips. They’re exhausting to me. One-third of my line next month is five-leg days. The other third is four-leg days. Dreading it.
