Years ago I sat on the jumpseat of the famous high-time flyer (MDW) who used to hold the TFP/month record. It was his turn to work the radios. Well, the poor FO had to literally answer about half the calls because this guy was so checked out. That and his responses to checklist items didn’t include actually looking at the switch that was being challenged.
I just don’t see how flying that much with only 4-5 days a month is healthy, much less safe.
