I’ll bet you I hate lanyards worse than you, so I unclipped the bottom end of mine and just tuck the loose end under my tie. That way I don’t even know I’m wearing it and I’m still showing solidarity.
That’s what I do. I can’t stand lanyards but wear the darn thing. I don’t clip my ID to it. It’s just not that hard.
