I like the payback day thing of course now if on reserve but in the end I avoid being on reserve anyway. In fact I am staying away from greenslips right now and just focusing on QOL.
This no pb day thing if allowed would be disastrous for many who use reserve green slips to work less and get paid more. There’s no way in hell I’d work a full month of reserve credit AND pick up more flying on top of that. Res and reg green slips are not the same and I’d be a single issue no vote if they tried to make them look alike. The life of a res pilot would be miserable and crew resources would continue to min run the operation. The pb day is one of the few tools we have to make it hurt when we run hot and needs to stay that way to discourage further staffing blunders. Don’t go trying to solve their manning problems for them.
