Seems to me they’re in a “let’s see what Delta gets” holding pattern.
These work rule improvements include:
• Reversing Pre-10 a.m. reserve report
• Eliminated changes to the LPA
• Reverted to current untriggered reassignment order for
lineholders
• Eliminated hiring of retired United Pilots as pilot
instructors
• Removed adjustment to the CRJ-550 maximum takeoff
weight
Second, while work is not complete, United and ALPA
agreed on improvements to Line Check Airman, Instructor
and Evaluator scheduling and pay.
Third, for weeks now, we have been working with ALPA on
a range of other quality of work life issues which will
benefit every United pilot, both line-holder and reserve. I
am pleased to report that we are very close to reaching an
agreement on these items.
These improvements - plus our ongoing commitment to
industry-leading pay - are the right thing to do and the
foundation for the next tentative agreement.
