The AS disability is a factor too I guess, once you upgrade if you medical out you could literally make it to 65 without having to work if your lifestyle expectations aren't too extravagent.
Might want to wait a year after upgrade as I believe AS is w2 with a 12 month look back unless it changed? That’s some of the downside of w2 look back vs payrate • guarantee.
