It’s also a great way to network. You’re paired up with clients for those airplanes (the whole point of the SIC thing). So, do a good job, be personable, etc…..I’ve known several SICs who have gotten either contract work or straight up jobs because of the SIC networking.
As for CAE vs FSI…..I don’t think it really matters. I’d just see which center has cooler planes and apply there.
