Not sure what good comes of that...seems more like, "He's getting a good deal (which he
works for) ,therefor, I am against it"

r·go I am for this deal. I would even expand it to regular line pilots who want to volunteer while unfortunately on disability. Like reserve is available to all line pilots. My only question would be can we get the company to cover the FPL since we are doing their work for them, on the scheduling committee anyway. The new MEC chair was the LEC chair and a representative for the DTW pilots so I'm curious how long we have been providing this benefit for his good work. He sets a great example for how a pilot can contribute to the group and earn a full wage for it. We really need to expand this concept for the regular line pilot that is injured or has a health scare.
