I was out of highschool by a clean shot, but I hadn't MADE it yet because finding an airline gig after 9/11 was tough for a while.

1. I didn't claim to be from Comair. I claimed I was from Endeavor and your boss at the end worked at Endeavor and he'd tell anyone that would listen what happened with Comair and how it wouldn't happen at EDV. Which in those days, we all wanted to hear that story if for no other reason than to write it on Guums Link'ed in gravestone for when he became VP of Saber software after running EDV into the ground. For all the stories of Comair shutting down purposefully, there sure were a lot of people ordered to get in there and fix it and a lot of money blown failing to do it.

2. Our numbers were better than Comairs. Gojets was better than Comairs. Not you, but your managers were lazy and it cost you, and that is on management.

3. "my delta buddies" all say the same thing- the jackwagon that ran your union is on a list, everyone from that timeframe remembers his name. Certainly if I tried hard enough I could get 100 guys out of 14000 to say something negative or abrasive about Comair pilots. I would start with the widebody guys because a lot of your captains on narrow bodies won't care who comair was.

4. If everyone will pardon me, I will address this next part as long as you want champ. "All of us remember when Pinnacle/Endeavor" yeah do a favor and shut up there. Everyone makes a choice in Bankruptcy. Our choice was to keep the soft pay (that frankly is harder to get) or keep the rates and carve out the QOL. We chose correctly, which was obvious to anyone with a working brain starting 2015. ASA guys, most notably, couldn't stop giving us crap for our choice because they were so lost in the woods trying to get a contract it brings to mind the parking of pinnacle back in 2011. Braindead, clueless, and self sabotaging, they watched us maneuver ourselves to better pay after the bankruptcy just like Mesaba did years before, with some of the same guys, butstill refused to recognize we were right. But don't worry, you don't have to make that mistake, because all you gotta do is check the scoreboard from 2015 and the next 4 years.

If you haven't heard this, buckle up buttercup. The union and the pilots that run it will do everything they can to get you the best they can, but when Chapters start being filed and the companies that REALLY own the airplanes take a haircut so will you. The only time it hasn't happened was Republic, and that's because they had more planes than pilots. They couldn't shed a load and reboot like every other company has had to. You're going to eat poop 99% of the time, it's gonna suck, and you pray your reps you elected are adults and set you up for a comeback after the bankruptcy. That's the best YOU can do. It's hard to do. Few succeed. We had more success than most.
Lol. Guess I hit a nerve. I know better than to argue with a regional lifer who never made it beyond the junior leagues, but thinks he knows it all about the industry. So enjoy your career for a couple more years, lol.

Just curious what airline you were flying for back then? When we were going through that my number one priority was my family not some random cry baby who blames everyone else but the person in the mirror.. You were responsible for representing and supporting your airline and your union. You weren’t responsible for supporting us, in fact I don’t remember any of the haters offering financial support to pay our bills to jump off the cliff for other Regionals. No Geniuses here we just had to survive.!
"I did what I had to do to survive and pay my bills/pay me family" Said every scab ever. Not saying you were scabs but you're justifying some pretty selfish and anti-union brotherhood behavior here. Where was I? Flying for a ULCC airline that treated us like dirt.

You guys have at it. I'm done here. You got your unsustainable money, now we'll all see how the next stage plays out.
